NUTMEG TV! - KEY TO YOUR COMMUNITY!
Spring has Sprung!! Check the Great New Programs!! NEW PROGRAMMING ROTATION SCHEDULED TO START ON MAY 1ST!

LET NUTMEG TV HELP YOU GET YOUR GED!
In an effort to reach everyone who may need their GED, Nutmeg Community TV is teaming up with the Plainville Adult Education Department.
GED Connection Series classes will be offered on Nutmeg’s Educational Channel 19. A total of 38 programs covering Language Arts Reading and Writing, Social Studies, Science and Mathematics will be offered.
This wonderful opportunity offers ALL Nutmeg TV viewers the ability to receive GED instruction at home on a regular basis. Jill Daley, Coordinator of Plainville Adult & Continuing Education hopes that this opportunity will attract new students in addition to supplementing any current students in the Adult GED programs.
There are a number of adults that for one reason or another such as transportation issues, childcare needs or employment schedules can’t come to adult classes and this series will deliver the information required to assist them to successfully prepare for their GED test.
Each class will cable cast 2 times per week and there will be a total of 2 different classes each week. The classes will cable cast at different times including mornings and weekends which hopefully will accommodate more people.
The classes are scheduled as follows:
Language Arts, Program 1: Sunday, 6pm and again on Wednesday, 10am
Language Arts, Program 2: Monday, 10am and again on Thursday, 6pm
The first class is scheduled for Sunday, March 2nd.
To be a part of this wonderful project please call Jill Daley, Coordinator at
The Plainville Adult Education Department, 860-793-3209. There is no fee and it is open to All viewers in Avon, Berlin, Bristol, Burlington, Canton, Farmington, New Britain and Plainville. By calling and registering, it will insure that when you are ready to take that final test, they are ready for you!
Nutmeg Community TV is excited to be able to bring this opportunity to those who have had difficulties in obtaining their GED. And for those who have their High School Diplomas it’s a great ‘refresher’ course! This program will cable cast on Channel 19 for 1 year.
